The Dnepropetrovsk maniacs are the men responsible for a string of murders in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, back in 2007. The case received immense notoriety due to the killers filming majority of the murders. These videos were found on the mobile phones of the suspects during the trial, the most popular now so named ‘Three Guys One Hammer’, the film shows the three men murdering 48-year-old Sergei Yatzenkno in the woods with a hammer, as well as other tools including a screwdriver.

A few photographs were also found in the suspect’s possession, including photographs of them attending victim’s funerals and 'flipping off’ the tombstones. Evidence of animal abuse was also shown in court, using pictures of the suspect’s posing alongside mutilated animal corpses.

The men; Viktor Sayenko and Igor Suprunyuck were ultimately convicted of 21 murders and both sentenced to life imprisonment, a third conspirator, Alexander Hanzha, was found guilty of participating in two armed robberies prior to the murders and was sentenced to nine years in prison.
