The osseous remains of the Red Queen. It is still unclear whether the Red Queen who died 1,300 years ago, was the wife of Pakal II or if she was a ruler of the ancient Mayan metropolis once known as Lakamha. The tombs of both the Red Queen and Pakal II are the largest and most elaborate of all those discovered in the ancient Mayan city of Palenque.
