Skeleton hand carved from chalcedony by Harold van Pelt at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. This sculpture took months to complete, Van Pelt carving each bone of the hand to be anatomically correct and assembled correctly. Harold van Pelt chose the chalcedony for it’s resemblance to the color of actual bone.
