My name is Thomas H. Cayne. I have lied so many times about my age
that I won’t even bother to lie again. Let’s just say that I am one
year younger now than I was one year ago.
I am a theoretical anthropologist (Ph.D.) by education, and I also
have a degree in Physics. I have written many (published) papers and
books on related topics. Was awarded some prizes.
Before the degrees, was the art. I could draw before other children
could talk, and somewhat later, I won a large number of typical drawing
contests for (much older) children, but that was a long long time ago.
(I literally outdrew them too many times.) I painted and wrote long
before I knew what anthropology was (taken that I know what it is right
now), and I kept doing it.
Here is a recent book of poems on Amazon: Poems of salvation.
Some fairly recent paintings and drawings can be found here:
And this is not exactly a prune:
Sometimes one does not have to (or want to) choose.
I have also lied so many times about the lives I am leading – many
people do, I guess, but perhaps my other lives are somewhat darker. They
have taken me to many places, situations, women, substances – you name
it.
And here I am now.
But enough about me – you will get to know other stuff as we get along.
