The Station Nightclub Fire - On 20 February, 2003, Great White were playing a gig in The Station nightclub in West Warwick, Rhode Island. What started out as an enjoyable night for the 300+ guests, soon turned to tragedy when pyrotechnics, which were set off by the tour manager, caused a fire. Within five minutes, the entire nightclub was engulfed in fire due to the extremely flammable sound insulation foam which was inside the walls and ceilings. The video clearly shows that the exit was blocked due to the stampede of people attempting to escape. 100 were killed and 230 were injured. Many surviving victims suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder following the ordeal.
