The Loneliest Whale in the World - The 52-hertz whale is an individual whale of an unidentified species. His calls are at the unusual frequency of 52 HZ; other whales calls are at a frequency of 10-39 HZ. This means that no other whale in the entire ocean can hear him or even know that he is there. Even humans have never physically seen him but have heard his lonesome calls on navy sonar detectors. He has been detected in a number of different locations since the 1980′s, wandering the ocean alone.
