In August 2015, these interlocked skeletons of a mother crouching down to protect her child were discovered in China. They were victims of “China’s Pommpeii.”The story actually gets more interesting than that – they’re not a mother and child at all, and may not even be related. These may have been strangers to each other, taking comfort in at least not dying alone, 4,000 years ago.
My horrible typos and silly word slinging has been painstakingly edited by my good friend and fellow writer for HST, Ian Shearer; with special thanks to Mike Daily for being such a dude. This is not the collection of artists featured in HST over the past few months, this is a book i started long before the HST was even thought about.
