This statue called The Kindlifresser or “Child Eater” can be found standing in the middle of Bern, Switzerland. It was built in 1546, but no-one is sure as to why. One theory is that it represents Kronos, the Greek Titan who ate all of his kids to keep his throne.
Another theory is that this statue is just a boogie-man that eats kids. It stands there to teach kids to behave, and it seems to have been working for about 500 years.
