In 2006, archaeologists discovered the world’s earliest known artificial eyeball. It was uncovered while they were searching the necropolis of Shahr-i-Sokhta in the Sistan desert on the Iran-Afghan border. It’s believed to be dated between 2900 and 2800BCE and was made with bitumen paste and covered with a thi layer of golf and an engraving on the face to represent the iris. On the sides was a small hole through which thread could hold the eyeball in place.

"Drunk at the matinee" is a collection of candid poetry about stupid shit that we all experience from day to day.
