For me, it was the part about driving. Every time I got in the car, I thought about it. The more I drove, the more it made sense. There was this one night I was driving home from work, and there was nobody on the street. I mean, n o b o d y . And I'm sitting there at a red light, just waiting-waiting And there's no cars anywhere. But, still, I sat there. I obeyed. And that's when I realized it's not about technology, it's not about machines. It's about what they're doing to us. What they do to our hearts, 'cause our hearts are no longer free. And you wanted to be free.

"Drunk at the matinee" is a collection of candid poetry about stupid shit that we all experience from day to day.
