Tupac Shakur was an American rapper and actor. Selling over 75 million records worldwide, he’s arguably known as being one of the greatest rappers of all time. Most of his songs focused on violence and hardship in inner cities, gangs, and racism. At approximately 11:15PM on 7 September, 1996, Tupac was targeted in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. After being placed under a barbiturate-induced coma, Tupac died on the 13th of September. His murder became one of the greatest murder mysteries in American history and still remains unsolved.
