"Boys have their benefits, but I love every inch of a woman's body!
I was born in America, but since my father was a photojournalist, we lived all over the world. My mother died in an auto accident when I was 12. It was horrible! But even harder for my sister who was only 9. And for my dad, who was always so sad after that.
When I was 12, he gave me his old 35mm camera. It was so heavy! I took it everywhere and he taught me how to develop film and make prints. I spent hours in our darkroom, until the chemicals stained my fingers. I loved to watch an image appear right before my eyes, in the developing tray.
I liked photographing people the most, especially my little sister. She loved to dress up and pose for me. I also experimented with self-portraits, which I still take."

"Drunk at the matinee" is a collection of candid poetry about stupid shit that we all experience from day to day.
